Majid Dethrones Nancy Ajram

Iraqi pop and romance singer Majid El Mohandis has another achievement on his record, his album is outselling that of Nancy Ajram--something major in Arabic music industry. The romance gem album "Ana Weyak" has manged to capture the number one spot on record sales and placing "Super Nancy" album second. According to Virgin Mega-store Dubai.

Majid's album is four weeks old and Nancy's is about the same. Wael Kfoury has taken the third spot with his well received album. Wael's album has been on top of the charts for weeks now. Elissa's four month old album is on the fourth spot, and Egyptian pop dude Hamaki is resting on the fifth place. Those are all good albums, and the stars vary in appeal in various different Arab countries.
