Set el Habayeb, "ميريام فارس أه يمّه" And Other Mother Songs

I do not like the cover of Khalid Selim, he wanted to make the song his own, but this is a classic, one does not need to see it any differently, you either copy the whole thing or just leave it alone. I am serious, his slower cover of the song is lame. He is a much better singer than this.

I do not know who told him to do that, I am certain he loves his mother and he wanted to give her a decent song, but he is not entitled to ruin a classic. This is Set El Habayeb. The other song is a new hit song by Egyptian pop star Mohammed Hamaki--we do not like the fact that he sang for the Bahrain regime as they killed people.

This is yet another slow song, it's new, it's sort of a new style of Hamaki, he sounds like he is talking to his loved one, not his mom. However, the song gets better as Hamaki finds the zone. Not a classic, but it serves a purpose.

The third music video came from Myriam Fares, this one comes with a purpose, neglected mothers abandoned at assisted living homes. It comes using the Gulf dialect, I am impressed by this song....Myriam's performance of this song. It's a sobering song, unlike any other thing she has done in the past. There's no dance of booty moves, there's a hearted song that searches for a happy ending.

It's a dramatic song, in black and white about mothers who have not been rewarded for bearing children.
