The Russian Army Gets A Syrian Love Song By Ribal Al Hadi

No one knew who Ribal Al Hadi is before today, but now we know him because he just released a song titled the "Russian and Syrian Armies". It's a song supposed to scare away the terrorists. The song sing praises for the armies that are supposed to be fighting violent extremists. Somehow many more of them are made by those actions.   

Ribal is a musician too, so he composed this song. Stupid guys do exist in every country, and tough guys do not release songs. He wore an army uniform and showed a gun and star in the Syrian flag to promote his song.

I do not know much anymore, but to celebrate a foreign invitation is wrong for the Syrian opposition and wrong for the regime. I am not taking sides anymore, I am just tired of people who shame others yet they invoke the same shameful acts. Ribal may chose to do this song or maybe he was asked to do it for the army. No doubt there are folks who love the regime, but.....

Shame! Khaleejis Kill Yemenis And Sing For Them!

It's not secret that filthy rich Arabs in the UAE and Saudi Arabia are bombing Yemen to the dark ages. It's also a documented fact that many innocent Yemenis have perished as a result of this ill-fated war on that magical land that's Yemen.

Syria's Piano Man Goes To #Germany #Palestine (Video)

Give it up to this talented Palestinian refugee from Syria who has managed to make music in the face of a brutal war. In Syria's Yarmouk refugee camp on the outskirts of Damascus, an estimated 18,000 residents are living out a bare-boned survival. A brutal government siege has left them with little food and rare access to clean water amid the daily threat of violence.

But in the middle of the devastation, a musician with a battered piano is coloring the scene with sounds of hope. He plays his music over the constant bombs, bullets and sounds of destruction.
 

Ayham Ahmad has played his music amid the rubble of his Syrian hometown and at a transit stop while traveling by foot across Europe. On Sunday, Syria's beloved piano man performed his songs in front of thousands of people in the historic Konigsplatz arena in Munich, Germany.

Ahmad was one of the acts at the Danke-Konzert, or "Thank You Concert," a free show featuring a string of German artists welcoming refugees and thanking volunteers involved in the refugee effort. It was organized by nonprofit Bellevue di Monaco, German indie rock band Sportfreunde Stiller and Munich's city government.

Now that all Palestine is revolting.....here's a song that inspires one to cry. 

This is a new song recorded by the son of Nablus Salem Omran, it's a song that should full every Arab with shame, and every Palestinian with sadness. A song that asks the Lord to come to the rescue and about the land of conflicts, but the artist does one clever thing, he includes footage of Egyptian talking heads talking shit on Palestine. There are sad times, there's only God, no brother no support from assholes. I think this is sad because this will for sure push the people of Gaza to radicalism. Salem did a great job here with his voice that's filled with humility and sadness. His voice promises many and delivers a lot more.

I know Israel is in the wrong--they just murdered four boys playing soccer on the beach, the images are too graphic. They say they are moral, and I hope they better not believe it.

This actually maybe good as the people of Gaza will learn to fend for themselves, and be resourceful and create something out of nothing. The lyrics are soft, but they have been written by Qassim Al Najjar the loudest folksy singer in Palestine. No matter what Egypt is always going to be close to us, not the regime of right now. Let's remember, it was the Egyptian administration who turned in Gaza to the Israelis in 1967. Palestinians at that time were banned from having guns.... and now people like Okasha and Amr Mostafa, they are enjoying the murder of Palestinians.

Syrian Musicians Turned into Street Artists in Turkey (Video)

God help these millions of refugees. If reports are right there are more than 2 million Syrian refugees in Turkey--mostly Syrians. Many of them are exciting people who had a life before the war in Syria, and some of them are musicians. So it was only a matter of time for a Syrian band to take on the streets of Turkey and dazzle the world with their music

Music makes people feel good and heals the soul. See these shattered people but not broken do a lovely cover for one of the most memorable songs by Egyptian pop star Amr Diab. Street artists are a dignified way to earn some cash. There's not much in it, but the artists feel that they are doing their part.

I am impressed by this cover, it's well performed despite all the rage these artists must be feeling by now. It's unclear to me if they are singing for their fellow refugees or for tourists, whatever it's I admire them. There's a lot of talent in Syria and I have yet to meet a mediocre Syrian vocalist.

Lebanese baby's momma Qammar or Ammar has not done a song for few years. She did appear in a film where she sang more than two years ago. but an album has not been released for her in some time now Qammar is still trying to get the father of her little man to accept to take paternity test. Khaleejis Are More Prepared For Orgies Than Wars

I laugh when I see Khaleeji men act all tough and manly. Few tribes in Yemen is fighting back agasaint half a dozen armies invading their country. See, the Saudis and the Emirates have gone to war agasaint Yemen. The goal is to liberate the country from its own people and installing a friendly regime.

It's tough to deny this, but they have droves of weapons and fancy gadgets in those tow countries, Yemenis do not have anything, just the will and justice. This worked for them. In one day dozens of army officers from Saudi, the UAE and Kuwait perished invading their brothers. These army officers have brought death to Yemen,  not peace.

I do not mourn them. Their party crazed leaders who sent them to their fate re to be held accountable. They Khaleej thought Yemen would be an easy target, it wasn't. The generals in the armies of Saudi Arabia and UAE have never seen a real war and they are best prepared for orgies than for war. This is why they suck at it. Plus Yemenis, are willing to die for their countries, what are these invading offers willing to die for? They are not fighting to defend their own country, but rather fighting to install an out of touch regime that has been rejected by the people.

If this leader the Saudis want to run Yemen was any popular why is he hiding in Saudi Arabia and not among his people in Yemen? I do not hate Saudi Arabia, or any other country, I just hate it when they do stupid things.

I wrote this because I just saw a new song/poem propaganda piece done for the UAE's army and leadership. It's a show off piece. The funny thing is that there are tons of mercenaries fighting on behalf of all countries involved.

The Revolution "Coup" In #Syria Gets Another Song

She is their biggest cheerleader, and she made her stands known to the masses, then she toned it down a bit. Now she returns with a cover of an old Oum Kalthoum song in favor of revolutions. Keep on mind, the original song was performed by the legendary Egyptian songstress who has also sang for the king before he lost power and the army took over.

Assala is a super star and she has the high for the octave and whatever comes below it. She has what it takes to rock concert halls. Lebanese Trash And Stinky Politicians In Music

Lebanese trash is causing a political turmoil. It took a garbage crisis for Lebanon to finally snap.
Anger about the heaps of trash accumulating in Beirut's streets boiled over this week with thousands protesting in the street against a government so dysfunctional it can't hold elections or pick a president, much less deliver basic services.

But since this is Lebanon a land of a million artist, a million fashionista and a million more savvy business person, they are making songs to celebrate this stinky mess. I have come across two songs one by Aly Barkat and another by Shady Farah. They essentially say the same thing.

People of Lebanon deserve better from their country and from their crook politicians. Leave the people, leave the offices and leave the republic alone. And the security forces did have a tough stand and beat up people in the streets. Not very smart, you do that and you fuel the demonstrations. The songs offer us some humor in this crisis.

Arab Pop Stars Who Joined The Million Views Club!

Arab pop stars are pleased if they break the million views on YouTube, if they beat that, it's all gravy. But then there are few who reach ten million and we will never hear the end of it. But in the Arab music industry, there have been only three pop stars to break the 100 million views on the video viewing and sharing. Let's see who they are...  

1. Saad Lamjarred, the Moroccan pop star whose songs are different than what most Arab pop stars make. He does local songs from Morocco with an international mindset. And his music vidoes are so creative yet simple. He is the latest to join the club with his hit song "LM3ALLEM" It's actually a fresh breeze of pop that even impresses those who are not typically listening to Arabic music. Saad came a lone way from his days on Star Academy where he made his splash.  
2. Hala Turk, the little girl from Arabs Got Talent--she is from Bahrain and she likes to do cute songs in both Arabic and English. Since he does teen and children songs, you know she gets the views from the same household a dozen times. So if you are an Arab child, you will appreciate what Hala has been doing. I do not like that she is so concerned with singing English. If you do think you are a brat, you won't be the only one. Happy Happy
3. Huseein Al Jassmi, this is  weird one, you get the biggest pop star from the UAE whose fans are all across the Middle East doing a song form Egypt. So a guy who grew up without democracy--but plenty of cash, singing for a cash strapped army dictator. No one denies that's a catchy tune that went viral and made last summer one big dance party. Though the composer, idiot Amr Moustafa took credit for it and many Egyptian pop got envious. "Bushrat Kheer"  

How does it feel not to have one Egyptian pop star or Lebanese singer on this list? Maybe this is a humble pie. If you care about money, a 100 million views are worth $870,000! That's a lot of cash in Arabia.

Arab Idol Ahmed Gamal Celebrates The Sham New Suez Canal

Ahmed Gamal did great things on Arab Idol, he was the runner up for Mohammed Assaf on the program. People loved him and appreciated his talent. Even those who voted Assaf, could see the quality man Ahmed Gamal is.

But two years later and Gamal is still trying to find his own voice. He did couple of songs for TV dramas and a music video for a decent single he released. But now comes his new challenge. A song he recorded for the new Suez canal. The song makes two countries out of Egypt. One for violent general Sisi minions and another for everyone else--he calls them traitors.

This is a political porn as the song's music is the work of Amr Moustafa who still thinks Mubarak is God's gift to mankind and hates the January 25th revolution. Not sure what Ahmed Gamal is doing by pairing himself with that useless idiot. Perhaps he wants to get paid and get access too.

Love In The Time Of ISIS As Told By One Syrian Music Video

I have been noticing more romance songs from Syria that allude to the war in that country. Romance is hard in conservative societies, but it's all but possibly during wartime. Hussam Jneed is releasing a new song where he is posing as a Syrian solider caught in war--sleepless nights for him for his lady.

These songs are popular even in peace time, and Hussam Jneed pulls a believable Syrian officer. It's one of those styles that young people enjoy and find it great for dance. The added value is of course to support that country's military.

Let's hope these two lovebirds get to enjoy each other's company one more time. But we all hope Syria will have better days than the current ones. It's only fitting the female to be a nurse to heal as the army does little in this department.

What's impressive the amount of action this music video shows--the Syrian army had to have a hand in producing this one. Indeed they are getting a thank you in the credit toward the end. You see the war captured beautifully. And you get to see ISIS types. You see the army protecting civilians and defending them under fire from terrorists. If this is true then sign me up for this army.

The Uninteresting Minister Ziad Baroud

Not sure why would 250,000 Lebanese people would appreciate minister of interior is nothing fresh. Meet Ziad Baroud, a Lebanese civil servant and prominent civil society activist. He served as minister of interior and municipalities, considered to be one of the most powerful positions in the country, from 2008 to 2011 for two consecutive cabinets in both Fuad Siniora and Saad Hariri's governments.

The thing about Ziad Baroud is that he is unremarkable in so many ways. He is not particularly charismatic; he speaks in a funny accent and is rather technical in his approach. I suspect that these unthreatening ‘qualities’ were at least partly behind him getting the job in the first place, sponsored by President Suleiman. While the Maronite scene is buzzing with young aspiring scions of political families, this young minister from Kesrwan went about his business, delivering an exceptionally well organized election process in the most challenging of conditions. I never liked propaganda songs because one they do not feel "real" and often times they are done in a rush as in a knee-jerk reaction to some appalling event. And in any country where there is a dictatorship, the artists behind such songs are doing them either rout of fear or hoping to get access to the tough men ruling the streets.

It's not secret that I admire Aziz El Sahfei, one of the coolest singers and producers in Egypt. He is a composer and he is also an active supporter of an Egyptian soccer club--he released an album about how much he loves his team. Aziz did many songs for the love of Egypt in the past and many of them were good.

This time it's different as his latest songs are made in reaction to the attacks on Egyptian army officers who were killed in an ISIS attack in the Sinai desert. These are heroes should be celebrated, they are foot soldiers. But should not the song also talk about the dozens of causalities inflicted by the army in retaliation of these attacks--seriously some children got killed there too. You really do not have to wear a uniform to be celebrated.

Aziz and many of his friends joined for this group song to chime in. There are five singers who participated in performing this song led by Aziz El Shafei (lyrics and music too), Sharif Ismail, Mostafa Hagag, Fakharany, and the exciting new comer Saif Magdy. Sure the song does not change anything, but it might give some people closure.

Why are they choosing death? The song says, I would rather die? Why should that be a choice? People should live for country not die for it. The army is bragging here about their power, good luck bullying your own people.

As for the song, I love each artists who appeared in the music video, I am a real fan of theirs but unlike them I see all deaths tragic not just those for the ones I love.

The Satan Of Egyptian Makes A Cameo In Black Theama New Song

Not many bands in Egypt are as cool or as talented as Black Theama is. Also when it comes to Soul, these three guys have plenty of it. This band which is made up of three dudes who come from three unlikely places from Southern Egypt. A land rich with music diversity and appreciation for all things that has soul.

Here's the latest release from the band, a song that asks of us all to do soul-searching. The band puts the question, "Why have we arrived at this?" This has a lot to do with Egypt in post the army coup on the democratic president--who they have now sentenced to death. No one feels safe in Egypt as citizens feel as guests in their own land as if the army is letting them live in it, but it they break the rules, they will pay.

This can also be a social song about how society has progressed or regressed, the media has changed the country and the social media have caused a lot of changes. Posing the question, why do we only smile when we are divided? Is it our own fault? I must say this is a bold song without making waves, it poses serious questions without hating on anyone. Egypt has a lot of questions to answer....I love the line why parted away with Satan because we become him. The song is not about politics or government, but rather about people who run it.

It's a minority and a vocal one that wants to go to heaven by turning out lives into hell. They beat people up, murder them, lash them in public, blow shit up, gave fiery hateful sermons. And this is not an attack on Islam or Islamists. Just the violent minority that targets civilians. This is an angry humanitarian song. It stands for women rights, the rapper feels liberal but in the face of extremists this is not meant to be an insult.
