The 70s Arabic Epic Revolution Song

With all those songs we have been hearing the last few weeks about how awesome these young Arab men who took to the streets to bring about change and get rid of the old guard and its corruption riddled regime. We have covered pretty much all mainstream songs about the revolution, while many are great and many make a clear point about how great the revolution was awesome.

But something was missing in all those songs, the singers do not seem to believe in the power of the people or the power of their won words...they just do not take the time to make a song into a masterpiece like they did in the 70s and 80s. But not to worry, we found the one song that embodies the the dreams and the realities of the revolution.

Go back to the early 70s with us and enjoy this truly classic song about victory, revolution, and the change. While the words of the sons are powerful and speak truth to the power and to the masses, it's the delivery and the passion that make this song an epic. This is song with a whole case of legends of Arabic music. Get this Mohamad Abdel Wahab wrote the music for it, and performed in it. Algerian iconic singer Warda, Egyptian legend Abdel Halim Hafiz, Shadya, the Lebanses Syrian Fayaza Ahmad, Najjat and Fadia Kamal. The title is Arabic for the upcoming generation and looking at the excution of this music video and the large number of cast of soldiers, farmers and average people you realize this is one the artists and the people spoke with one voice. A voice that said Gamal Abel Nasser is the man!
