Arab singers are hell bent on sucking up to the powers at all costs. check out this once respectable singer releasing a song to celebrate the return of the King of Saudi after medical trip that lasted him three months.

While the majority of Arab singers are busy writing songs for Egypt, Tunisia and Libya, Assi went a different route. He does not care about those poor countries, his eyesight is on the place where the money is. He is celebrating the King of Saudi Arabia and talking about him like of they were buddies.

He is making him, this wise Arab leader who is all about justice. He is the light and the protector of his land and all Muslim land. Had I not known better, I would think Assi wrote this song for the Muslim commander Saladin not King Abdallah.

Assi, do not you have any shame man? When will you stop singing to the Arab leaders and sing to the people? I think they might not ban this song in Saudi Arabia, but they sure do not like music. Keep brown nosing and hope one day you might get a present from the kings and leaders you praise...of course both of you will be living in exile.
