Art For Childhood in Palestine

One of the organizations working in the Palestinian Territory is a group called ANERA, they do a lot of interesting projects in Palestine and beyond to help combat poverty and suffering of the people living over there.

I went to one of their reception few weeks ago and it was a fundraiser for their art project in the West Bank where they are working on children allowing them to express themselves with art. While ANERA has various programs that help agriculture and help feed people, art is also important.

While this is not a music video, it's a short clip of the work of this leading organization in Palestine and their effort to bring better art programs for children living in tough circumstance. I remember growing up in the UAE where in my first grade, they has music classes, but then when we moved to Gaza we can barely find a safe place to go to school, so music and art were not that important. We did however have a drawing program, which was a way for the teacher to take a break and tell us to set and be silent.
