Ilham Al-Madfai Open For Business

Popular Iraqi Australian musician Ilham Al-Madfai gave the Arab world some serious Arabic music, his work enriched the field and made Arabic music hip like they used to make it in the golden age. the man who is loved by almost all Arabs living at home or abroad, they can agree on this rare talent.

The man behind some of most original folksy songs delivered in a fresh musical concepts using the guitar took some time to record a song for Palestine. But this master did not just sing for Palestine. He sang for a new Palestinian residential community that is being built as we speak. Rawabi is the new town being built by Palestinian and Qatari investors.

Ilham visited the town and was impressed by what he saw as a 100 percent Palestinian project. The composer planted an olive tree there and hoped one day he would live to consume its oil of which he is a fan. I might not like the politics being the Rawabi project, but I admire the people who want to make things better and I give tremendous resepect for Ilham who visited Palestine an performed there.
