Tash "Habibi Leh", The Good From London Via Dubai

Here's a song from a guy who does not know a word of Arabic, but that has not stopped him from making a sweet club mix song with a hear. This Pop, RnB, Dance, Fusion idol whose home is somewhere in between London to Dubai to Beirut. Tash has become Sony's first full signing to Sony Music in the Middle East. I like the way the song was mixed by blending a number of musical styles and bringing them in a ear pleasing fashion.

His genuine passion for music and his voice is a unique mix between the East and West, fusing traditional Middle-Eastern vibes with Western R'n'B & Dance. His album features songs recorded in Arabic and English offering a truly new and diverse approach to modern day, culturally influenced, international. Growing in London http://www.blogger.com/img/blank.gifbrings all sorts of musical influenced with the immigrants from all over the world has helped shape up Tash's style

I do not really know enough about Tash, but I know that I like what I see.

  1. i totally dis agree at 1st he caught me with the blend of music which he does which i like which loads of artists do, but the more i read about him and his back ground the more i disliked him eg he's turkish why is he not doing the same music but sing turkish i honeslty hate the way he sings arabic and 2. he is gay as an arab guy how am i meant to follow him and listen to his music. also on a few sites there are comments saying he took this style from another artist and is trying to pass it off as his own when checking this out i found it was true. it's a shame because i liked the music but at the end of it all he is not original artist a fake it you would put it

  4. He sounds really good to me! So what if he is Turkish Cypriot? Arabs already watch Turkish soap operas... be grateful that he is actually promoting the Arabic language. As for the rest of the accusations, well, this is the internet! Don't believe everything you read! If you liked his song, why should this change after hearing rumours? Clearly some Arabs just don't like the fact that a Turk is the first to be signed by Sony.

  5. why would Arabs care if he is the first signing to Sony?????? Arabs hardly know and care about labels they just want good music and for Sony to sign a gay Turk who can not sing Arabic and release him in the middle east is probably the most dumbest move talking as a PR.

Arabs love great music and after listening to this album i feel that Tash does not present this i see him more of a weak artist who cannot succeed in his own region that being London or Turkey

So please no more comments on who should be grateful our language is one of the most known and so is our music Tashs album lacks good music arabic sounds and his voice is just overpowered by the autotune which shows his voice is no good.

and btw when we watch Turkish soaps we watch it with Arab voice overs by Arabs not but Turks

  6. this song sounds good to me. He should sing in English... singing in Arabic will only put his career down.

  8. Aku suka jaa lagu nih.... sedap... walupun aku kureng skit ngan lagu rentak lama... lagu arab cam tamer hosni, meryam fares, amr diab, hossam habib yang memberi nafas baru kepada lagu arab sama macam lagu tash yang memasukkan elemen R&B plus hip-hop.... good...
