Does Syrian Majid El Qassim Love Egypt More?

Syrian composer singer Majid El Qassim (Kassim) who has made a home in Egypt where he does a lot of work has just released another song for Egypt. This would be his one millionth songs to that country. However, the singer seems to either have overlooked his home country Syria or have been instructed to keep out of the mud.

Syrian is too close to call for many entertainers. Some fear Assad, but most see him as the lesser of the two evils. In the days before the Arab Spring, not too many spoke about Majid who seemed to have gone away, but then he manged to give his career a boast.

This song he dedicated to the most recent victims of the soccer massacre. There's a new female voice (Elham El edreesy) that I believe I see for the first time. This is part song, part prayer calling for the saving of Egypt from above.
