Bandar Saad, the Saudi singer released his new album 10/10, with 11 tracks on it. The charismatic entertainer who understand what it takes to make refined music is releasing his album in this touch music market as this year, the focus seems on politics and change, not music. I do not doubt the album will stand on its own, but hope it gets noticed, here is my take on it
TRACKLIST:
.Ya Rab, starts like a catch tune with Gulf music written all over it, then it draws you in with the prayer like appeal the singer issues. Entertaining
.10 3ala 10, it starts as a conversation between Bandar and his chorus, then it gets more exciting when the grade of his love is released to the chorus in festive atmosphere. Creative
.Elbent El7elwah, Gulf fans will embrace this one, very upbeat and dance intense using simple lyrics and drumbeats. Dance Away
.Sheft Nafsak, sober and mellow song, very melodramatic where you complain about the time and the love you are not meant to have. Blues
.Alabyad, I am not feeling this one, it does not sound like a unique song, but it's poetic.
.Ma Yenmeze7 Weyak, it takes some time to start, a very new subject where Banader realizes that his loved one cannot take a joke. Interesting
.Saweet Feeha, I love the vocal of Bandar's in this song, this is the sweetest song in the album where Bander lets his emotions out of the bag. Emotional
.Elzam 7doodk, the most angry song on the album, but you still can enjoy it as the flow and the music keep you guessing. Bold
.7abba 7abba, the best title song on this album, some fancy music, slower than other songs. Again you can hear the passion of the singer and his sense of loss. Sweet
.Alo Alo, the phone call song seems to be a smut for all entertainers, the chorus wins this one that talks about the zodiac signs and an inter connected world and changed gender roles. Fresh
.Elshaweesh, it feels like other Gulf songs, maybe the music is to blame for this, but the tale Bandar tells is amusing. He is asking a police to arrest the one that did this to him-his loved one broke his heart. OK
