The Anthem of The Arab Revolution

So a Tunisian wrote this poem that went on to became more famous that its author. It's true Tunis was the first Arab country to start the revolution movement, Egypt was next and Yemen looking to be following soon.

We Arabs love this poem, I remember in Palestine we often cite this poem daily and see it in most our art. It comes alive once again throughout the Arab world, in Libya, Bahrain, Yemen and beyond they made this song their anthem, it offers warmth and hope to keep the momentum.

Abu Al Qassim Al Shabi is the man behind those touching lyrics, I bet he had no idea his song will outlive him and outlive us all. He died young 1934 trouble with his heart.

إذا الشعب المنشد يحيى حوى
