Abdallah Rowshid, The Man and the Musician

One of my all time favorite musicians from Kuwait is the composer/ singer Abaallah Rowshid. Because Kuwait is the home of many Arab intellectuals and thinkers who are shaping the Arabic world with their thoughts and contributions to various causes. Mr. Rowshid is no different. The man who always sports in the traditional Gulf white men garment has also in the past wore top notch suits in his music videos to compliment his sometimes epic songs.

His contribution not only to Gulf music, but to Arabic music in general is hard to deny as he has the ability to pronounce all words of his songs in an enchanting way, his voice is nothing short of magical and his resourcefulness is evident in his long career spanning over 25 years.

He is one of those musicians that respects themselves and not chase after fake fame and commercials that will take away from their legacy. He does not need to sing, but he does it every now and then and thats why he has religious followers all over the world who celebrate him and his always new and always relevant. Rowshid compares to no one becaseu he is really and truly one of a kind.
