Why Do Lebanese Love Basem Feghali?

What is so hot about Him/her?
This Lebanese comedian and drag queen. Related to the legendary singer Sabah (Janet Feghali)

Basem went on to impersonating many Lebanese celebrities such as Nawal Al Zoughbi, Saad Hariri, Haifa Wehbe, Fairouz, he also impersonated Shakira, Marilyn Monroe, Britney Spears, Marwa, Nancy Ajram, Elissa, and Mariam Nour. Some of those spoofs he did have made it big and got laughs and hits. To be honest some of them are really funny.

Bassem Feghali is known for his ability to imitate the voices of personalities he impersonates without lip syncing. He has a knack for imitating female singers, he has to diet and exercise his voice so that he could impersonate the idols in a believable fashion. He dances, sings and does more than that. He does well most of the celebrities he choose to lampoon, he is known of impersonating Haifa so well and annoying Elissa with his take on her. Keep on mind he goes back with Elissa as both of them are alumni of the Studio Al Fan of 1996 season.

I do not know what to make of him, he is funny, and he works hard, but sometimes he pushes the envelop and he does that whenever he likes. Take for example in Ramadan, the holy month, LBC gave him his own show to make fun of celebrities, he did...but he was never sensitive for Ramadan and that most of his TV audience are Muslims and say children. I know that we Arabs love laughing at cross dressers, but I do not think it's funny, rather creepy.
