Abdullah El-Rowaishid, The Dreamy Album

The Kuwaiti answer to Iraqi composer/singer Kathim Al Saher is this popular and charismatic singer Abdullah El-Rowaishid, a singer, a composer and a lute player. He is the alpha dog of Kuwaiti music and the face of what's hip in Gulf music for at least two decades and the singer is not slowing down.

His latest album--he has more than a dozen albums to his name is Gulf album with varying colors and some inventive music has been released last week by Rotana. This album will sell for sure due to the name recognition and the Gulf's interest in Abdullah El-Rowaishid's music.

Cheesy Titled "You Are a Dream", 13 tracks make the case why Abdullah El-Rowaishid is a one man show with his great vocals, sad voice and ability to sing and not running out of breath are the kind of attributes you want your singer to have.

01 - Ala Neyaty, sad and dark yet sobering
02 - Lazem Ashofak, auto-tune intro, good music, entertaining
03 - Enty 7elm, the title song awesome musical instruments, sweet meets great chorus
04 - Khalas Ya Zain, old school exclusive Gulf, but might be popular in Tunisia
05 - Tsharafna, a grownup song with a sweet melody.
06 - Redina, Gulf beat and lyrics, Rowaishid sounds comfortable.
07 - Gal Entazer, a love story about waiting for forever, sounds like from the heart
08 - Soog Wajef, slow melody, a song for the older fans, and those Gulf Jalsat
09 - Gool Walla, featuring Ahlam in this duet can only make it a bigger hit
10 - Akhad Galby, a happy, upbeat song about games lovers play
11 - Leyaley El-khoof, this does not sound like a Gulf song, meant for other Arabs
12 - Abeek T7es, a dialogue song of confessions and agony, lyrics are the best part
13 - Magdr A9ber, an average song for this album
