Indie music is the gift that keeps giving, Egypt gave a lot of inspiration to the world, but now the ones that seem to have inspired by their own country men are the indie bands of that country. Those independent musicians are making a run for it and doing their part in inspiring others.
Meet Ahmed known as Rock, the son of the Alexandria, Egypt's California where the ebach meets the life loving people. He Started recording non-professional tracks in 2002 on cassette tapes using his personal Sony Walkman. Back then you could count the Egyptian rappers on one hand. Passionate for rap, he took one some rap battles and kept improving his skills and putting his name out there. In 2006 he met " Mezo TeMraz " and together they decided to make "REVolution Records " ( Underground Music Label ) Then the rest is history.
Ahmed continues to make music and release hits via his underground network.
