Amira Fathy: Clowns, A Circus and a Groom

Wedding season is upon us, when it's wedding season you need your dance songs, so this time comes a pleasant surprise from a girl. Most wedding songs that we cherish comes from dudes, not this one. Ameira Fathy has a sweet and festive song for this once in a lifetime occasion. In this song Amora sends a message to her girlfriends, father--she even winks at him and her home boy to be husband. Her uncles are als given a shout out and not to forget her mother who is having the time of her life.

Prior to this song "Ou'bal Kol El Banat" virtually had no name recognition but her voice, her cheeky style and her charisma came all together in this song that exploded. The music video was in the work for about a year, we have seen a promo like 6 months ago, but I am guessing the time was not right.

So June comes and the time has to be made right to catch the wedding season. I think the clowns are a nice touch, she has clowns for bridesmaids, that's some fresh thinking right there. this is how you make a cute music video, you make it festive, colorful and exciting.

This is one heck of a Baladi beat that moves you all the way to the dance floor. I see a touch of Salvador Dali when Amira is on the chair in the desert.
