Most seem to have forgotten that before Amal Maher was a mega pop star of her own now. With the smashing success of her second pop album and the rave reviews, she might be focusing on her own dazzling songs instead of covering the songs that brought her to fame in the first place.

Oum Kalthoum songs, Abdel Halim Hafiz and poem songs are easy to bring back to life with her flexible voice. While hundreds of stars try to recreate those songs, few can manged to transform the moment into a classy one.

In my book, she is one of the most complete stars, with a stellar career, a loving family and great personality, it's hard to go wrong. No wonder when I listen to her songs, I cannot help but savor the moment.
