The Most Selfless Arabic Love Song Also By Kathem

If you love someone truly, you would not care about their past. This seems to be hard for most people and this is true for most cultures. But few romantics out there really live by this rule.

For those ones Kathem Al Saher, the Iraqi singer who has become a legend of Arabic poetics love songs has a song just for them. It plays like a dialogue, she asks him if he loves her after all that has happened.

This is love in its best from, I call is faith. I believe this poem was written by Syria's most famous poet Nizar Qabani. I enjoy this song, it's a mature one from a grownup up soul. There's a line where she says we might have spotted exchanging letters, and gifts, but no matter what we have done, love is always bigger than all our sins (offenses)

أتحبني - كاظم الساهر
