Director Said El Marouk Opens Fire

Said El Marouk is the most prolific Arab director in modern history, he is sort of the Arab version of the American director Michale Bay. Both artists have extensive resume in shooting and editing music videos, both have ventured into movies, and they sort of worked together when Said took part of Transformer 2 shoot in Egypt.

Said has work don so many awesome music videos they are hard to count, each time he took on a shot he is ready with new concepts, his crew is second to none and his cut has made many people happy. But as in any business, there are always dirty secrets that are waiting to be told when the time is right.

Said took part of a show produced by the Palestine TV and gave some candid answers about some of the stars he has collaborated with. In his word, the Lebanese director is no fan of Elissa's style and he would rather not work with her again. The answer is this, the Lebanese diva is a diva, she interferes in his work, in his shoots and the edits. She sort of thinks he works for her, and she gets to do what she wants.

Other starlets he is not fond of is Madeline Mattar, whom he directed her popular song "Bahebak Wa Dary". Matter had complained that she did not look feminine in that particular music video. Said begs to differ.

As for Lamitta Franjieh, the beauty he had chosen to appear in his debut film 365 Sa'adah, he had the harshest words, "She needs to learn some manners", in response to reports about Lamitta leaving the theater 15 minutes into the movie once her role finished.

When confronted about his use of semi nude models and sex appeal, Said defended his career by arguing he has made 150 music videos, some of them were on the beach others weren't.
