What Saudis Call Ramadan Song

Saudis like music, more than they like to admit too in public. Here's a song for Ramadan--with a guy vocalist. It's not a song, call it a hymn. They call is Anshoodah, Nasheed or some other derivative of that word.

Such songs are specifically written for the purpose of praise of Allah, or some pillar of Islam. It's not unusual to have one written to praise a historical figure of religious significance.

On the upside of this Saudi style, the male's voice often are the music. The vocals have to be very strong and musical to compensate for the lack of musical instruments which many religious folks object to.
