Hind Rostom, The Arab Marlein Monro Is Dead

Marilyn Monroe, yes there's such thing and her name is Hind Rostom has just passed away at age 82 due to health complications with her heart. Hind was in the intensive medical care unit since Sunday when she reported trouble with her heart.

Hind Rostom has stayed from the spotlight only to make a return in which she compliments the young people of Egypt for the revolution, but she maintains that there is an invisible hand that causes the instability and clashes in Egypt.

In her long acting career that started in 1949 with "flirty Girls". This Alexandria city native, has started dozens of classical Arabic films in the golden era. Hind Rostom had many famous movies which include Ibn Hamidu in the year 1957.

Some of her best acting was in "Bab El Hadid" alongside Farid Shawki a 1958 directed by Youssef Chahine. She has also started in movies alongside Faten Hamama, Omar Sharif and Rushdi Abaza.

Hind rostom was considered as Marilyn Monroe of the East, she was bold in her acting and some of the roles she took had some sex appeal. Rostom has retired in 1979 becasue of age and her wish to be remembered as the young girl.
