Ahsan Nas, Egypt's Unofficial National Anthem!



Ahsan Nas is a popular song in Egypt and the rest of the Arab World, it was first sung by Dalida, the Italian lady that called Egypt home. Its one of her most popular songs to a place she really adored every corner of.

In 2004, some telecom company wanted to remake the song an an attempt to add some class and local falvor on the brand. Surprisingly, the remade was just as popular with the young people who have found yet another reason to dig up the original song and savor it.

The very Egyptian company hired half a dozen of the youthful stars, and some of them are not even Egyptians say Yara, Iwan and Mai Selim. No one owns this song the people of Egypt do. Afterall is was written by one of their brightest and most real folk poet Salah Jaheen
