Asala, The Girl From Syria That Rocks

She has been given the greatest, strongest vocals in the business. She is a true citizen of the world. A Citizen of Syria, USA, Egypt, Bahrain and virtually Palestine as her husband is also Palestinian American Egyptian.

I know she has a TV show now, titled Sola where she hosts a number of singers and performs with them. It seems like a good show and I am reading good reviews.

There was a time few years ago when she performed with new comer band Wust El Balad and they performed a number of songs together. They both benefited from this joint appearance. But listener are winners too, watch this song.
