Egyptian Activist 050 Band That Rock

050 Band is just another band that has came out as a result of the ouster of Mubarak and his regime that shuts down the new talents who might have a brain of their own. Watch this music video from this band about dreaming and wanting to work for a better tomorrow, a peaceful one.

Not sure if it means anything, but for some reason the video at least for a second zooms in an arm band where there's a cross. Could it be that the guitarist is Christian, this could be an Egyptian band with Christian members or an interfaith band. I cannot find much that talks about this--I must say this is good.

While 050 might be late to the indie band, their name has not reached me till almost a year after Mubarak's departure. But I must say, I have been watching them get better and better and their vocals and music attest to that.

During the election in Egypt, they rented a truck and fit their band in the back of it, rooming the streets and ran a get out the vote campaign.
