To the tunes of the Al Simsimyah, a very Egyptian music instrument, sand Medhat Saleh this song about standing in the steert along side others in their neighborhood watch committee. When the Mubarak cronies wanted to spread fear in Egypt, they released the inmates and their own tugs to intimidate people and steal stuff. The plan was to get the young people to go home to protect their property.
So a poet and his wife put this lyrcis to this song and dedicated to their home town Suez, the city that scared Mubarak and his regime. Medhat got the song and performed it to a very Egyptian tune. The people who maned those committes are the unsing heros of the revolution, they kept things safe at home so the protesters can keep on their demand and stay in Tahrir and other parts of Egypt.
