Assi Al Hallani Connects With Duraid Laham

One is a Syrian comedian and the other is a Lebanese singer. The Lebanese singer takes a song from Duraid Laham, one of his famous songs that came out in the 70s gets the Assi treatment just in time for mother's day. Ya Mo, a mother song but even though a comedian wrote this song, it's a very touching song.

Not sure what to make of Assi's game plan, he is a workaholic artists that makes a new song each week. He does interviews, concerts and makes statements, but I am not too happy about any thing he made since his last album. He used to be great and make good choices, but now it seems he opts for quantity not quality.

the first few minutes the clip is all Assi, but toward the end you get a portion of the Duraid Laham original song to which Assi is paying homage to. One more random thing, Laham hosted Qaddafi at his home in 2008 and Assi sang for Qaddafi in a concert Libya.
