Ameer Dandan, Great Music Made Better

He is a little kid from Palestine, but his voice says he is meant for bigger things, meant to be known by the rest of the world by something more than a Palestinian citizen caught in the struggle. He seems to be on his way to entertaining you with his cover of Arabic oldies.

Had Palestine had a real TV network and had they had studios to record music, Ameer would be on his way to stardom. But the Palestinians have more interest in making news than trying to make a the career of a star. Just look at the type of songs he perform, many established stars fear performing those classics becasue they might not be that good. But Ameer has nothing to worry about his voice and his performance of those songs are incredible and you feel the love throughout the song form the time the first verse comes till the last one hits.

For the time being Ameer takes his show on the road and perform wherever he can afford to. I will be seeing Ameer in North Carolina on May 7th as he will be bringing Arabic classics to this fundraiser for Palestine. I wish there is something that can be done to promote this star's art and music. I know this, I think many people will enjoy his true to life covers of classics
