Not Your Average Sexy Mother

Marwa Nasir is grateful for her mother, but this is the song she dedicated to the mothers of the fallen men and women during the Egyptian revolution. I like Marwa and I am a fan of her music and style. After all she has an amazing voice and it shows in her work where she works to communicate emotions few can bring to life.

But

This is a song for mothers' why do not we see a mother in the music video? Why is Marwa going for sexy closeup and gorgeous makeup? I think this might be the director's fault. You have a great song with some beautiful lyrics, good music and perhaps the finest young performer, so why throw all that way and make a music video that might be better fit for a love/breakup song.
