Wadei El Safy Sends Egypt a Song

Egypt had way too many songs in the wake of the January 25h movement, while those songs are great and many of them are pure goodness, the song of Wadei El Safy will be around. This legendary Lebanese singer composer, the patriarch of Lebanese music did not disappoint either. The man behind the beloved song of "Lebanon, I love You" is out with a new song.

The song starts with the Egyptian national anthem, then Wadei shows up with his lute to make what he has been making for more than half a century, refined Arabic. The music video takes you on a tour of some of the scenic views of the land and its people. When the song breaks, the old man starts the song with "What more should I tell you Nile" which indicates that the legend knows there are many amazing songs for Egypt.

Then the footage of the October war sure to make you shiver. Then comes the line where Egypt and Lebanon are one and the same. Man, Wadei el Safy looks very fine and he seems to have aged graceful without losing his signature golden voice. Enjoy this classic song fro the guy who knows the classics better than anyone else
