Egyptain Amal Maher Is Still Awsome

Like many fans of serious Arabic music who appreciate a singer with a quality voice and loads of grace, we have found the person to celebrate. Amal Maher is more than a singer, she is a complete entertainer. This young lady has brought back so many pleasant memories of golden Arabic entertainment in the 60s and 70s. When the ladies from all over the Arab world made Cairo their home and gave the Arab listeners hundreds of fine songs.

But it's not the 60s anymore, and Amal has not made any movies to advance her career instead she focused on her music career and took it higher and higher. Amal is in demand in concerts in Egypt and in the Gulf countries who appreciate a taste of Tarab. In that department, Amal seldom disappoints, she does live concerts like many wish they can. She has the strong voice and the charming persona that delivers the classics and the half a dozen of her own songs she had in her 2006 sole album.

But the fans know Amal is not the show, her voice is, people go to hear concerts to hear her magical voice and live the moment brought to us by the live orchestra that accompanies the starlet. I can only say that I can hardly wait for Amal's new album which is supposed to come out this year after so many delays due to first production issues and now due to the ongoing political climate in the Arab world.
