It's Not Ramadan in Egypt Until This Song Plays

Egyptians love the season of Ramadan, it's the month of abundance, mercy, fasting and charity. So you know the rich race to give out food and money and the poor almost have something to eat and a reason to celebrate.

But also there is the traditional Egyptian music that usher the month of Ramadan, music made in the 50s, 60, 70s, 80s are the classics of this month, and they always play them at gatherings, on TV and in public. Nothing new compares really.

The song has a chorus of young children, a female and a male leading the song, the song also tells the kids to get excited for the month as it comes bringing all the goods with it. the second song asks the kids to indulge on sweets and bring out their lanterns to join the celebration. This is so Egypt and this is so GREAT!
