Nostalgia, Egyptian Singer Shahinaz

She has quit the business and called it good. Upon her marriage she vanished for a year or two, then came back this year with a new album about social and religious uplifting. The music was good, but was anything but romantic like we knew this singer.

Very few Arab females posses the kind of vocals and energy that can express complicated sentiments. Her voice was truly unique in its strength yet so soft. She is easy on the ear and the eye.

Ever since her breakout song in 2002 and Shahinaz had the fans in line, waiting for anything and everything from this wonder woman. She made all the right choices, and took her time with her albums and for that she won the love of the fans. Most respected her choice to quit the business as it has changed so fast.
