Ramadan: New Tunisia And Old City

The dictator of Tunis used to ban people from praying too hard, if an imam has a good voice and people like him, the government would tell the guy not to lead the prayer anymore. So when Ben Ali is out of power, Ramadan has a new flavor in that country that is still making its way toward stability.

The Tunisian meal does not have the same brand as the Moroccan one, but see the Break the fast table at this Tunisian man home. The food is quite different that what we have in Palestine, Syria and Lebanon. It offers flavors and nourishment, but most of all it brings the family together.
