The Hardest Working Gentlemen of Gulf Music

The best selling dudes of Arabic Gulf music give you a performance for the ages. The two biggest household names in Gulf music are Rashid Al Majid and Husein Al Jasmy are relentless, they might as well be the hardest working artists on the scene.

While Rashid takes the traditional route by sticking to only Gulf Dialect songs and that made up the bulk of his stunning career. Rashid has started his own production company Aljazeera which he uses to recruit new talents and produce his material. This Rashid is now back in charge after few unlucky streaks in the mid 2000.

Husein took a different approach, you give him a good song he will sing it, he is a big player in Egypt and he might as well be the first Gulf star to reach to common man in Egypt, not just the few educated ones in colleges. Husein ventured into putting his voice on Egyptian movies and TV dramas and that was a smart business move.

So what do you get when those big stars come together and sing one song. The drowning person is the title of the song, like when you are in love, but lost and not sure what to do and how to move ahead...this song goes to tell you how you feel in a better way than you can do yourself. Contrary to most Arabic duets, the artists not performing this song together instead, everyone is delivering his lines in a different concert.
