The iconic Iraqi musician Kazim Al Saher has always been diplomatic in his language and has nothing but nice thing to say about his critics even the harshest of them. The Arab star who has sang for every and each Arab country is a popular figure as well as a respected musician, composer and acclaimed singer.
Here comes the twist:
It was reported today that when the Iraqi singer was asked if he would release any songs to celebrate the Arab revolutions in various Arab countries his reported answer came as a surprise to many. The Saudi publication "Al Riad" quoted him to have said, "Those are wars and chaos" He further stated that those are revolutions are armed rebellions.!
Kadim was reported to have also said, I do not do revolutionary style songs and pep talks, I sing for love peace and justice. There are foreign hands trying to bring instability to the Arab world, Kazim was reported to have said. (Source)
If this is true WTF Kazim? On what planet have you been spending most of your time Mr.? The revolution are about justice and love, they are not about foreign conspiracies. It's one thing to be sick of war, but it's quite another to be for the status quo that has not been working.
I am sure he will come out tomorrow and either clarify the statements or distant himself from them.
