  1. Pop Star Ramy Ayach had it with critics who have ridiculed his appearance in his music video El Nas El Raeyah when the star has a long dark hair. They called it the Rabbi look, so Ramy told these critics, I am a pop star not some Rabbi. He prefers to be called pop star and not Ameer Al Tarab, the prince of Tarab. (More)
  2. Rolla Saad, the princess of light Arab pop and Baladi dance songs can now sing in Egypt becasue the corrupt officials who banned her have been canned in the Egyptian revolution. She is now saying the revolution has brought me justice. And now makes her most famous claim, Haifa Wahbe, the Lebanese pop diva is jealous of her. Those two pop singers have actually sued each other more than once. (More)
  3. Bold Egyptian movie director Khalid Yousef has tough words for those artists who rejected the Revolution in Egypt, he will no longer work with them. And he names Ghada Abdel Rasik, the popular Egyptian soap opera and movie star that lead support Mubarak rallies, they made three movies together but that won't be happening again. He is not saying his movies will change 180 degree since he won't be talking about marginalized communities, druggies, sex, and abuse of power. (More)
