Mohamed Awesome Mounir, Where Are Thou?

Mohamed Awesome Mounir is known for his fusion of local Nobi--southern Egypt music with pop. And he did not do this just now, he has been doing since day one on his career. By doing such hip fusion Mohamed Mounir carried the legacy of legends like Mounib and other folks musicians.

For his efforts and his authenticity Mounir is a big name in Europe, Africa and the rest of the Arab world. The vague thing about Mounir is his preference to do his concerts in Egypt--he seems not to like to tour outside of his home country. Few months ago he performed in the UAE and he sold out his show, it made the news because it was his first concert there. Not sure why he does that, but I respect him for not just chasing after the money.

Many of us have been waiting for Mounir's upcoming album, it would be his first since 2007. I bey anything it will be a work of art like the singer himself. He offers brains, class and charm. What more do you want?
