Khaled M Declares "Can't Take Our Freedom"

Few weeks ago, we caught up with Libyan native Chicago based rapper Khaled M as he was protesting in front of the White House here in Washington DC. When we interviewed the rapper, we asked him if he has anything new about Libya, he said he will.

Now comes a very powerful rap with a timely message as the people of Libya tray to take the power back from the crazy man Qaddafi. Listening to this track you can feel the rage Khaled M has for this man and his brutal tactics. We all know this man is crazy, but Khaled M and his family know Qaddafi's dirty tactics since Khaled M's father fled Libya after being imprisoned for years.

Incorporating Arabic lines in this song serves it well and makes it a lot better for those who understand Arabic and those who don't becasue rage needs no translation. See the rare images on the Streets of Libya, how can you not be enraged? the sideshow takes on the sons of this dictator who are no less entertaining than their own father.

As a rap song, this seems like a perfect one, there is the flow, the rage and the poetry. This is why rap came into existence to give voice to those who have not been offered a platform to be heard. Lowkey's vocals add some variety to the track and I think the compatibilities of those two voices is perfect.

The song gives a shout out to the people of Tunisian and Egypt for leading the way. Are ready to do something Now?
