New Singer of The Day Majed El Remeh

Lebanese are a lot of things, but for today, they gave us Majed El Remeh, a young contestant that took part of popular TV show Star Academy few years ago, while he was one in tens of others singers, I have concluded that he has the voice that draws you into the songs.

He sounds like an a cross between Syrian singer Wadie Al Asmar and Lebanese singer Adam version --a very good version all around. While Majed does many Lebanese songs he has to breakout in a mainstream songs that manage to make it big in Arabia--I am thinking Shatha Hassoun. The net seems to be confused about Majed, some mention he is Iraqi, others claim he is Lebanese. He might be both.
