Latifa in Better Times @ Qartag (Carthage)

Back in 2007 all seemed quite on the Carthage 2007 music festival--an annual music festival that brings the A list singers performers from around the globe. But the only major Tunisian singer to appear the most during this traditional festival is none other than the home girl Latifah.

Watch this clip of the Tunisian native who has made is big in the Arab word where she is a household name in entertainment and everything Arab. Latifa who never shies away from tough questions has always took the plight of the people of Iraq and Palestine with her where she went. Lately she has been busy watching over her home country in the wake of the departure of the dictator Ben Ali.

For decades now, Latifa has been known to the Arab street as Latifa the Tunisian, and that became a brand for this energizing singer that refuses to fade away. she is able to do this by striving to be the A player in the music scene, she has the voice and the talent for it. She is the voice of a nation so dear to all our hearts.

Now check out Bahib Bigaramak and feel free to dance along, it's a sure thing to move you from your chair to the dance floor. We just miss those songs of hers and can hardly wait for her upcoming album this year.
