Loving Egypt 1973 Style!

Listen to this gem of a song by Fayaza Ahmad, the singer of the 60s, and 70s who needs no introduction, she declared her love of Egypt, Man either nothing has changed or her song just sounds right at this moment. For a Syrian native who moved to Egypt and was granted citizenship she is very proud of her new home.

The people of Egypt must have felt pride in 1973, and now they have every right to feel proud again, this is a song that channels the feel of 1973 and brings it all the way to January 25th 2011 to mark the moment of history.

The singer and actress worked with notable names like Mohamad Al Moogy, Baleeg Hamdi and eventually Riyad Al Sunbatty who are legends in fine Arabic music and have worked with the greats like Oum Kalthoum. Even thought Fayaza Ahmad passed away in 1983, her son is with us at this moment.
