Hamza Namira is the Life of the Party

The Guitar playing, self respecting Alexandria native son Hamza Namira was an early supporter of the Egyptian revolution, he sang for it, and asked people to dream way with him. He took port of the protests, he chanted with them and he spoke on their behalf on Arabic TV

He is a dreamer all around and has just took part of the festivities on the Victory Friday on Tahrir Square, where millions of people gathered to celebrate living in a free county for 7 days without Mubarak in power. Everything is better when you are free, Hamaza'a voice and performance are no different.

Watch this Balady Ya Balday song about country and love of one's home. I like the energy Hamza brought to the stage, I love the sighting of the Egyptian flag, it now means something, I bet that's how Arabs felt about it in the 60s and the 70. This is the time of pride, because soon we all have to get back to work.
