Salah Al Kurdi Reminds Lebanon of What Matters

While everyone and their mother are talking about Egypt, thins are not looking too good elsewhere. I name Lebanon that does not have a government right now...but they do have millions of educated, talented, and sophisticated people. Few of those people work in politics and that's the problem.

But here is a solid song for Lebanon released few days ago to call for unity and remembering what matters most, home. The Lebanese blood is all the same and they are brethren and sisters living in one land. Not many songs have been released about the gridlock in Lebanon, but this is a good appetizer.

The man behind this song is the composer and gifted musician Salah Kurdi who also crafted the lyrics and voiced this passionate song that appeals to all voices of reason. Salah Kurdi was the man behind a number of popular song by Elissa, Fadel Shaker (the duet with Elissa) , Adam, Melhim Zain and Ziad Barji. He seems to be focused on the Lebanese style, making him perfect for a song like this.

إستمع لأغنية يالبناني يا خيي
