Lebanese Mawal, the Timeless Mount Music



It's so easy for the older listeners to appreciate this art form of singing, telling a slow ballad in a strong voice and a slow fashion. But there are the young and proud who enjoy this art form.

It comes from Lebanon, but in Syria it is is all popular, the Iraqis give it another name, but it's all the same level of captivating art form. Arabs like it too much, but also those who don't speak Arabic can find really value in it.
in Palestine they call is Zajal/Mawal.

Here's a mawal dueling between two Lebanese singers Moeen Shireef, and Mohammed Iskander. The two dudes vayed for Maya Diab's attention on her show.
