Music enthusiasts around the globe always look for something very local and embrace such rich cultural soundbites. It does not really take much to put on a sophisticated music act. You have your basic lute, and a number of musical instruments that can add flavors.
I have been in so many shows like these ones and every time it's just a cool. The masters went on a show in Paris during 2010. This kind of music is popular with older Arabs, elites, and non Arabs seeking the thrill of a music so different than one's own.
