In 1991, Arab pop was just a baby, so you had to make respectable music that makes sense and entertain, the image was not a big factor in the music business, there was no intranet and no CDs. There was radio, TV and those old cassette tapes. People had more time then and there was not rush for the next big thing.
Angham has a sweet album then, she has already been a household name thanks to her early start. 7 track, the title was "Bibsatta Kida", "This Simple?!" but the title song was good, entertaining and charming. However the song on the album that blew up everywhere and till this day is considered a modern day classic is Ya Taeb, a duet by Angham and her father who is a musician and a mentor for Angham.
If you look love song that is sweet and lowdown in the Arabic dictionary, you should find this an example. Angham is about to release a new album this year, I hope it gives us something new and gives her something to brag about.
