Why Do We Cry After A Breakup? Alaa Amin Answers

Alaa Al Amin is yet another guy to join the ranks of guys who feel cheated by the one they have loved. He is a young voice with that famous Shami good looks, I am not the one to enjoy cry songs if they are just average. I have heard more than my fair share of breakup songs, and this guy does not quite do it for me. I do not feel like enjoying a breakup song with a dance melody.

Alaa released an album in 2012 with a collection f those party and folklore songs, it was sold locally and sold well. It lives on the internet now, and Alaa's songs have been given the YouTube treatment. The song is about love turncoats, who take you for a fool and then dump you by the road as they move on with their lives leaving you collecting the pieces. He rightfully dubbed the song, Tob Al Ghader the clothes of Betrayal.

Amar, The Arab Orphan Music Video

Amar has an out of wedlock baby, and the father remains unknown. Amar or Qamar sang a song about ti putting the father to shame, but showering her little boy with love and care. The song was about how both the mother and the son are abandoned by both their families.

Now Amar makes another song on this subject, she is a little baby that was dropped off by an orphanage, living on less and poverty, then she grew up to be a full gorwn woman who has a sense of humor and knows how to dance and charm. She also cooks and the rest of the female orphans go along with her plans.

The title is the best thing about this song, "Oh La La", the idea of the music video is ripped and has little to do with Arab homes.

Ziad Saleh, When in Doubt Bring out the Ladies

In all honest,y I love the opening scene, it opens like a well made horror flick and the birds in the moon and the hoot creepy the hell out of you. Then a caged cat woman shows in full gear and a number of guys show up for the show. Then the dudes get raped and the cat woman and her sidekicks emerge and detain the guys including Ziad Saleh who chose to sing for the eyes of cat women who revealed herself.

The music video plays like kinky bachelor party with some S&M elements apparent in the music video. A minute later, it's all party mode, dancers and all that jazz. This sounds like a Syrian shaabi style, a very muscular style of singing and they brought out scores of ladies.

Sure Ziad's voice sounds good on live concerts where he tours around Syria and beyond.

The Arabian Dudes Will Love This One

Not quite sure what to make of Fahad AlQseer, I do not know anything about the dude, nor does the internet. It's not my fault, but he colors sad songs and for some reason his music keeps appearing on my account. My guess he is either from Iraq or some Syrian small town as his style of choice seems to be withing the Syrian folksy music, becoming more and more popular as Syrian tv shows get shown around the Arab world.

The music video plays like a flashback of the good old times before the break up happens and the singer feels abandoned and lost. Sure, he also sits around in a bar remembering the life he could have had with his ex. Every Arab kid who went to college has a story like Fahed's. Not my style of choice, but his style is popular for sure...the simple lyrics that flow naturally and effortlessly please those looking for some comfort.

Rabi'e Al-Asmar Takes on the High Maintenance

Fewer Arab voices are unique as the voice of Rabi'e Al-Asmar, the voice that has a brand of its own. As we have known him with his unique style of Shami folksy singing and old school music and very very powerful lyrics delivered in manly style.

Rabi'e caught his biggest fame in singing along Najwa Karam, the Lebanese queen of Mountain style sining, Rabi'e voice was assured to make it big once he made his appearances with Ms. Karam. Before then Rabi'e was just a good voice and only known to a dozen of people. Then Rabi'e caught another break he voiced the popular TV show Bab AlHarah, which means he was in every Arab home.

Rabi'e latest song is Bint Al akabir which will be embraced by almost all single Arab men and any other man who has a failed relationship. High Maintenance families and ladies is the subject of this song where the dude is not good enough or maybe he is just not goos enough in his mind. It was a surprise hit from the man who has been dominating his genre and capturing the hearts of men and women alike.
