Lebanses Iskander has always been a tough guy who sings manly song--very testosterone types. This time he goes for the unit filled with the men--the Lebanese army. They need all the support the can use because they are facing against some radical and violent groups in Lebanon.
The army now seems to be a very popular institution at the moment. A Rod of Iron is the title of the song as in no mercy--smash those radicals. It's a different song that we came to know Iskander fro--who sings for the love ladies and good looks. Here he is singing the army praises and counting their virtues.
The lyrics are written by Faris--his son and a hip lyricist. They make a mighty team and a trend sitter in Lebanon
