Syrian singer Asalah Nasri has collaborated with a large number of Arab composers over the course of her very long career. But one of her songs that never gets old and sounds like the first time you hear it whenever you play is Ayzah Alhaq, "I want the truth", a very touching song by the great voice of Asalah. The music however keeps the song flowing and the words sound sweeter.
But if you are a follower of Libyan composer/singer Hamid El Shaeri, you would know the music is his work. Hamid, the pioneer of mixing Western music and Arabic one has given this song his work and that created a modern day classic.
This reamins the only time both artists would collaborate, even with the success, they song got, nothing seems to get Asalah and Hami working together. Maybe becasue Asalah is focused on Gulf music now.
