One thing I hate about singers in the Gulf is that they act all cool on TV, make romantic music videos where they are running around in the filed and looking good. But then in private they pretend to be the most conservative folks around. When they walk into a place with the company of wealth sheikhs they pretend it does not matter.
My music video is the work of director--it was not me. Putting that aside, Iraqi singer Majid Al Mohandes is one of the most entertaining singers in the region. He is beloved in places where Iraq is hated. He has not forgotten home as he expresses his love every now and then through music. But he also knows romance is his thing.
He is a handsome man who has the classy look, he has also been called the Prince of The Arabic Song. He is so well groomed, all around and he dresses so sharp, it almost cuts. He has the all Arab look, natural manly and in charge.
For his 2012 album "Ana Wayak", he released his music video for the title song where he does a number of things, I like the vintage look and the typewriter. It's a love story about the things you hear and live when you are fighting for that love. As the song goes, Me and you against the world.
